At Community, we understand that each person is different. You might have things about yourself that you want to modify, but we don’t want to change who you are. That’s why at our facility, clients take part in treatment programs that are individualized. We let you be who you are and express yourself the way you want – we won’t take that away from you. Our therapists will help you hold onto your individual self while removing the harmful drug or alcohol addiction that has been bringing you down. We are here to help you focus on healing things that are out of balance, without changing the positive aspects of yourself.
Primary Residential Treatment Program
Our Primary Residential Treatment program uses a lot of one-one-one therapy sessions. Some clients take part in up to two of these sessions a day. This allows us to help clients get to the heart of their addiction, and help them develop the skills needed to overcome addiction. Group therapy is beneficial and is used at our facility, allowing clients to work on relationship building and social skill development.
While we believe one-on-one counseling sessions are effective for therapy, we also believe in the importance of community and social life for healing. Our clients live with each other in an open and caring environment, where they encourage and teach each other to stay sober. We want clients to see that being sober is fun and positive, and our residential program allows those in our community to focus on socializing in a sober and engaging environment.
The residential program at Community is an intensive program that provides 24 hour care, 7 days a week. We offer a comprehensive 30, 60, or 90 day program, which may be extended if clinically recommended. Our residential treatment is aimed at the basics of arresting the addiction process, as well as establishing individualized relapse prevention strategies. We use daily groups, individual therapy, and other activities during the partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs.
