Recovery From Addiction
Addiction is a disease, and like any other disease, you need professional help to manage it. There are different treatments that can help you recover from addiction, and what is right for you might not be the right treatment for everyone. It is important to find a facility where you fit in, where you can be on board with the program, and where you can feel like you can truly recover.
Community Rehab is a treatment center that is unique, just like you. We offer more than just therapy sessions; we help you become a part of something bigger than yourself. We help you be the best you can be, and offer healing in all areas of your life.
Steps of Recovery
There are several steps of recovery a person must go through when they recover from addiction. The first stage is detox, or withdrawal, where the individual will cleanse their body of the toxins they’ve been feeding it through substance abuse. Detox can last a few days to a week or longer, and the severity will vary from person to person. Depending on the individual’s drug use history and the type of substances they have been using, they might go through withdrawal at a different rate. We recommend supervised detox, where the client is monitored and can receive the supportive care they need to get through withdrawal. Community Rehab’s staff of compassionate professionals helps clients through a safe and managed detox so that they can be on their way to the next phase of recovery.
After detox comes therapy. There are countless therapy methods that can be used, but Community Rehab only uses those with proven results so that we can help clients accomplish their goals for sobriety. We focus on individual therapy, but make use of the benefits of group therapy and a positive social setting as well.
The final and longest stage of addiction recovery is the time after treatment when an individual returns home. There are many temptations to turn back to drug or alcohol use, and it is important during this time after formal treatment to have a support system in place to help prevent relapse. Because clients have established close bonds with others at Community Rehab, they will have a group of people standing by as they return home to help them succeed.
